Since I got back from Santa Cruz, I've been procrastinating a little about which beauty school to go to. I guess I've decided that I'm going. I've also decided just to stick to an esthetics program. I couldn't be bothered to do hair and nails - I'm just not passionate enough about them (to do other people's hair & nails, that is). That choice limits me, I realize. But with that said, there are two schools in contention. ::School A:: is closer to me and it only takes 4 months to complete the program. ::School B::, I feel (and fear) is the better school for what I want to do, but their program is 8 months, and I would have to live with my mom to attend. Booooo!
It looks like ::School A:: is the one I'll HAVE to go to. That leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I want to go to the best school. But there is an option to take "Master Classes" at ::School B:: after I get my license later down the line, making ::School:: A a "wise" choice for the short term.
I have an appointment with the director of ::School A:: next Tuesday and after that I should be making my final decision. Then I'll be starting the program in October! That's next month!
Obviously most of my coming blog posts will be about what I'm learning...it should be interesting! Also, I'm planning to start my own make-up artistry business.
